Harm Reduction Resources

This page will constantly grow and update with new and newly found resources.  If you have a website you'd like to see up here, or if you're the owner of a site and would like to highlight important content (or have referral information taken down) please shoot at email to rackstorichesoffice@gmail.com, with Subject: Resources.

There are always unexpected bumps along the road.  And some are bigger than others.  For those times when you really need outside help, here are some resources to keep in mind.

The Hotline is the only 24/7 center in the nation that has access to service providers and shelters across the U.S. Today, The Hotline continues to grow and explore new avenues of service. Here is a link they’ve published for resources in different states, as well as some online and print publications on the topic.

The Aspire News App looks like any other news content on your phone.  However, it has links to information about domestic abuse and resources to browse over.  While the reviews do point out that it's not comprehensive, it may be a useful part of a toolkit.  For more info: https://www.salon.com/2013/11/21/this_incredibly_smart_domestic_violence_app_could_save_womens_lives/

Trafficking Resources

“The National Human Trafficking Hotline is a national anti-trafficking hotline serving victims and survivors of human trafficking and the anti-trafficking community in the United States. The toll-free hotline is available to answer calls from anywhere in the country, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year in more than 200 languages. Our mission is to provide human trafficking victims and survivors with access to critical support and services to get help and stay safe, and to equip the anti-trafficking community with the tools to effectively combat all forms of human trafficking. We offer round-the-clock access to a safe space to report tips, seek services, and ask for help. We also provide information, statistics, and resources on a wide range of topics related to human trafficking."
